HOT CHICKEN CURRY
Ingredients
- 4 tbsp sesame oil,
- 3 onions sliced,
- 8-10 green chillies,
- 15 curry leaves,
- 3 tsp hot curry powder,
- ½ tsp Organic garlic powder,
- 2 tsp Organic ginger powder,
- 2 tomatoes cubed,
- 1 tsp tamarind paste,
- 2 pounds boneless and skinless chicken pieces,
- 2 green bell pepper pieces and salt to taste.
Preparation
Heat the sesame oil. Fry onions, green chillies and curry leaves. Add turmeric, garlic, ginger, cayenne and tomato slices. Dissolve tamarind paste in 1/2 cup of warm water. Put in the chicken, bell pepper and tamarind water. Cover and simmer over medium heat until the chicken is tender and the sauce has thickened. Keep stirring occasionally so that the sauce does not settle.
